It's A Boo-ring Task!

I was surfing the channels for a good scare when i came across THE TASK.

SYNOPSIS:

Something diabolical is taking place on the set of "The Task" a new reality show in which players complete terrifying missions within the confines of an abandoned prison hoping to win a hefty cash prize. As six young students explore their new environment, malicious spirits make their presence known in the most gruesome ways imaginable, Unable to escape the labyrinthine prison, the contestants become unwitting pawns caught at the centre of a blood-soaked night of terror. -- (C) After Dark Films

O c'mon Reality Shows, Haunted Prison, Ghostly frights? This is too conventional already since the early 2000's! 

I think the movie is trying to surpass the likes of House on Haunted Hill... locally, i could compare this to Gaby Concepcion's White House! There's nothing jumpy about this movie except for the sudden appearances of the clown.

And oh, there were pathetic and terrible scenes like the stabbing of the characters! 

It did not live up to my expectations with its stereotyped thrills... just did not give that punch!

Trust me, Scare Tactics shows on TV are way better!

MY RATE: Just thank me that i watched the movie and not suggesting it to you...
